The purpose of Rebel U Community is for the Godfrey-Lee Technology & Media Team to bring awareness and information to the community about available technology resources and how to utilize those resources.  By partnering with Kent School Services Network, the GLPS Tech & Media Team is reaching out to the community to build community relationships that are established based on a foundation of trust, information, and respect.

Join us on Saturday, April 19 10:00 - 1:00 for an informative "Rebel U Community" event on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA, aka "the Dream Act").  

Individuals who were brought to the US as children, entered without inspection, and were under the age of 31 prior to June 15, 2012 may be eligible for DACA, which includes work authorization.

Bilingual immigration attorney and MSU law professor, Veronica Thronson, will be sharing her expertise on the topic and how families can apply.  Please bring your questions!

Childcare and a light breakfast will be provided!

Las personas que llegaron a los EE.UU. cuando eran niños, entraron al pais sin inspección y eran menores de 31 años antes del 15 de junio 2012, pueden ser elegibles para DACA, que incluye la autorización de trabajo.
